    I'm bugged by homework. :face-plain:
  2.
People putting their nose way too much into my personal/professional life.
People talking very loudly when it's not necessary.
    Liars.
    Hypocrits.
People who think they got nothing to change but the others need to according to them.
People who think they are cooler than they are really in real life.

I'm the original grumpy (not old) woman!! Everything annoys me!!

Being such a pedant, I have to say that my biggest bug bear is when people at work don't do things the way I want them to. And also that the towels in the linen room on site aren't all folded the same way. I could spend hours in there just folding. I'd say mine was more to do with OCD than just dislike though. Lol, I'm a proper froot loop!!!!
This is why I work in mental health care. I seem totally normal by comparison. It's no coincidence!!!! Lol!!!
I'll stop now, there aren't enough hours in the day.

I get bugged when people ask me when I'm having kids.
  3.
People who don't take care of or supervise their children.
Pretentious people- I prefer to hang with people who are down to earth and don't have to shove their intelligence (or lack thereof, lol) down other people's throats.

Unlike you, Sharon, I AM a grumpy old woman. :face-smile:

Jen, I know how that feels. I used to get that and...."Don't you want to get married?"
  4.
I can consider myself happy because no one from my family and friends ask me about when I'll have kids or get married.

I hate it when I want to do many things at the same time.:face-plain:

Right there with you on the kids thing- I don't understand why people think it's okay to ask someone that. My father in law asked me why we hadn't had kids yet when we went up there for my brother in law's wedding (early cause she's pregnant). I told him we hadn't had a baby yet because apparently we were the only ones who'd been in school that day in health class.:face-smile:

Also I hate when people I work with comment about how young I look- they're always saying "I thought you were a student." I've taught here five years- I swear that never gets old. Like you have to be 50 to be a teacher or something.

    Here's a more complete list:

    1. Stupid inappropriate jokes my peers make. I love my school buds but their minds are always in the gutter.
    2. Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. 'Nuff said.
    3. Math and people who look down on poor people like me who struggle with math.
    4. Bad politicians
    5. People who make fun of me because I'm a religious person.
    6. Snobs and people who act holier than thou. Ah, that reminds me of a metallica song I like!
  5.
I'm too a grumpy person! Haha! These days I'm doing ok but there are some of those days where everything (and a particular person) annoys me.

Liz said: People who don't take care of or supervise their children.

I totally agree, Liz! This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I adore kids but I hate when their parents don't supervise them!

Natalie said: I told him we hadn't had a baby yet because apparently we were the only ones who'd been in school that day in health class.

I am going to steal this line from you! Our families are great but our friends keep asking. We are one of the last two couples in our group of friends who do not have kids yet so they say things like "Oh, I bet you guys will be next!" Drives me nuts!

I get comments on looking young at work too. You can feel the implication that they think you're young and naive too even when they don't say it. I'm 30 and I think I look about typical for 30 but my co-workers are MUCH older than me so I think they think I'm a lot younger than I really am.

DJ, I can relate. I always struggled in math all through school. I always read several grades ahead but math was a different story. I was embarrassed to give answers or do math in front on everyone because I always assumed I would get the wrong answer. I would feel physically sick before math class. For whatever reason, numbers started to click for me a little bit more as I got older. But it is still something that I have to prepare for more. Now I feel like it has made me a better teacher. I can relate and sympathize with my students.

I've always been more of a word person than math and I'm pursuing a career in art so math's not going to be a big thing for me, unless I change my mind and become a pianist because dealing with rhythm and tempo has to do with math.

When it comes to marriage and kids, people shouldn't be sticking their noses in others' buisness. If you want to be single, it's your own choice.

Ah Gen that does suck! Do you live in an apartment?
  9.
Yup and they are my downstairs neighbours...it's an old building so I can hear all my neighbours, lol.

I'm so fecking mad today...My cat kept me awake almost all night long last night because he was jumping in my bed then in my desk...he's sometimes driving me nuts.:face-plain:
  10.
Genie....I know how that is. At one point I had three cats. The problem is they don't listen and they think they are the center of the universe. My cats slept on me every night. I don't think I ever got a good night's sleep. My husband threw our cat Dru out of the bedroom because she would lay on him and purr so loudly that it would drive him insane. I was so used to it that it didn't even phase me.

My dogs can be noisy at night. They snore and breathe heavy and it sounds very human which is startling at 3 am. My cat is pretty good. She just pesters me for food non stop but only when I'm awake! The turtle has even learned to beg for food.

This story bugs me and breaks my heart. Such a senseless death. Regardless of one's stance on gun control, a kid has no business at a gun show. In my opinion, gun shows should be open to people who are old enough to have a permit and can actually handle the kick back of a gun. Insane.

That's terrible to hear, kids should never be allowed to hold dangerous weapons and use them. :face-plain:

What bugs me off is that the administrators who caused very serious financial problems at the university where I'm working aren't even going to prison for what they did. There is no justice at all in this world!:face-plain:

I bet you're good, usually my struggles in math depend on who's teaching it. Right now I'm getting an A in geometry and last year I got As and B+s in algebra because my teacher is so good. He goes at a reasonable pace, explains things well and always reviews what's going to be on the tests so we know what to expect.

That's great, DJ. Geometry is difficult. It sounds like you have a good teacher. I was the same way....when I had teachers who would teach it at a good pace, I could get it. I could fly through everything else and be okay but not math.

I'm so pissed off to think about that girl all the time. Between her and me it's over! I should realise that's the best decision I took. She doesn't deserve me as a friend ANYMORE! I don't miss her and I should think about myself now! It's been three months already since I ended (but I think that we both ended) our friendship and that's the way it should be.

People like that are so annoying. There was this girl who was my friend in 5th and most of 6th grade but she started being mean to me when I became really depressed when I was 12. She criticized everything about me and acted like she was better. Then she left for a year and when she came back in 8th grade she ruined my last year of middle school by faking to be nice and then saying something rude to me or spreading rumors about me. I'm glad she doesn't harass me anymore and we leave each other alone.
  13.
OMG! that's awful, DJ:face-plain: Some people are just so mean....but when you try to talk to them to solve the problem they run away from you then they say to the others you are the one who aren't nice and they like to make feel you guilty afterwards.:face-sad:
